did you have used a encoder before create the vcd?

Nero has the encoder to convert a mpeg file automatically before create a VCD.

Before using Nero, use TMPGEnc to convert, however, you must go to the advanced menu in TMPGEnc and use "Source Aspect Ratio" pull down menu to let it know that the source is "16:9 display". This will put black bars at top and bottom when encoded to vcd format. Then burn with Nero. Nero does not do this for you.
