Can you please explain me what are the various materials available to build a green building. I am a student of architecture and i would like to take up 'green building technology' as my thesis topic.

there would be some technologies like solar power utilisation, renewable energy utilisation, rain water harvesting, etc. Can i know the details of all such and much more kinds of technologies?
