Narrow minded people will be the downfall of this world. They cause War, Racism, Sexism, and bust down on people because of the way they live, worship, or party. Whatever it may be we all need to stick together and then and only then will they fail in bringing us down. I have started something here in Virginia that is kinda catching on and I will share it with you guys in hope that you will participate and spread the word....well here it is. Now we can all tell that we are all Party Kids at the club, but when we live our everyday lives working and what not you really can't. What my friends and I have done is we started wearing a blue rubber band on either wrist and we have spread the word at all the parties we went to. We are having great success here, now instead of guessing who is just like us we can tell just by looking at their wrist. Yesterday I met a girl that we had talked to at the club and she thanked us for our Idea. She said that sometimes she felt lonely outside the club...like she wasn't accepted out in the real world. She brought tears to my eyes. So all I ask is for you all to try it, spread the word, and spread the love. Help somone feel accepted and make them feel like they are a part of something....A huge Family of people who DO care. Well there it is, It's working for us...I hope it works for you. Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. Safe Raving everyone.....

Justin, I think that is a great idea. I have yet to find someone near me that feels the way I do. This is a great oppurtunity to find my family. Thanks, there will be blue rubber bands on my wrists and I hope to come across a stramger who has the same. :) P.L.U.R.R. out!

Hey! I'm from Louisiana and there are some kik ass raves there. If u want to look for sum just go to ravers.org and there is a whole bunch off cool stuff to look at. If u go into upcoming events, u can find all the raves in LA and the surrounding states. The only thing is because of everyone OD ing in the past u have to b 18 to get into the state palace, but there r other oppurtunities. My friend just recently dj'd at a rave in the graveyard. so there are sum pretty cool parties out there. good luck!

Raves are the shit!!! I've been raver since i was 13 and now i'm 15! Raves are a great way to meet and find new people of "our kind" we are the raver generation. But, yet a bit of a kandy kidd still remains in us! We are all attracted to the ligts, the music, the trippy videos, and everything else that goes along with it!! If u need to know of and raves goin on i can probably tell you when and where! infact i'd be happy to tell you!!! Well i'll talk to you all later!- britt A.k.a- Kandy Kidd Conn

Hey gotta let yall know that there are alot of raves in San Antonio that are coming up. They start tomorrow and on Saturday. Raves are cool!!!I like to meet new people and I like to see what they bring out into the crowd. I've seen this one bad ass chick, she broke the guys off. Every now and then we exchange bracelets for the fun of it. Hey I'll keep that blue rubber band in mind. My friends and I would like to support that too. I hate it that some people are against raves all they think its about is drug users, but thats not true at all. Don't change for anyone...

I would love to rave, but I'm just a lonely clone of western society. WORK, chill, sleep, WORk again. If there are raves in the south of this lonely state of Texas, I'd love to know. Oh, and I'll try that blue-band thing out here in Abilene. I'm not too hardcore, but I would always love to be cause I hate these boring people around me. PLUR. Oh and feel free to write me.

the party scene is horrid now i started in 1998 and it just gets worse im sorry to say locals in sA are terrible and young newcomers think theyre good please listen to the beatz theyre not matching. and any respectable party kid would never ever refer to themselves as a RAVER! no no no this was such a precious thing and its just not the same be ORIGINAL dont think that hot topic is the place to go for a "rave outfit" have fun and be yourself! its weird how peaple just house step now no one dances anymore. maggie get me back, luv to talk i still love the partyscene just for the music it used to be a way of life i partied at pulse in autin then the asylum autin music hall and San antonio doesnt have parties any more parties dont end at 4 or 3 they end at 6 or 7. after parties go on util noon. theres just so much to say im sorry if i upset anyone but i started in 1998 15 now im 21. be ORIGINAL! be YOU! no one else its a way of life not just another party. i took part in throwing them i started off promoting and just escalated it was work for me yes i got paid theres just so much to say...............

I totally agree with you'll. I live in Houston and yeah the scene is completly dead, it's no even funny. I haven't been to a decent party in forever, it feels like. But yeah I started in 98 too and the vibe was so awesome....i miss it. I hate that the newcomers have spoiled it for the real people. Its like the trendy thing to do, it's lost all meaning -the music, the vibe, the energy, the people, the LOVE! I'm small and phat pants never really fit me so I created my own party outfits it was so amazingly beautiful and I got really creative with the butterfly wings and the wigs and glitter. I would get so inspired to make a cool outfit when a bad ass dj came down. It was an outlet for me to sew and I also felt like I was contributing to the scene and would be accepted no matter what I created. I would always get so many compliments and people wanting me to make outfits for them....But, now life sux...I haven't sewed in forever! We need to bring it back to the root, the underground....just so that it will have meaning again. And all these fucken punks that just DON'T GET WHAT THE FUCK ITS REALLY ABOUT -THE MUSIC, THE PEOPLE, THE VIBE, THE P.L.U.R!!!!!!!!........TRY TO GET THAT AT SOME FUCKEN BOOTY SHAKIN' CLUB!!!!!! (..........it's a way of life.....your right so much to say........) Oh, yeah I'm gonna be in dallas next weekend to see sasha, luke fair and kid icerus, the vibe may sux ass (well,i don't know never been to dallas) but the music will KIK ASS, so hit me back if anyone is going.

Any upcoming events near Dallas that anyone knows of (underground style ones. I don't like the idea of a rave being sponsored by a club, and in a club... they might as well call THAT a themed party!) coming up soonish?

-- Anonymous, February 10, 2005

Hey all you party people...I am an OLD SCHOOLer, and I'm an OLD Fart, turning 32 this year. I wanted to say that partying is not something you need to go DO...Its in you, just find the right beat and follow it thru. I moved to ATX from Southern Cali a few years back. I've thrown raves, promoted them, became friends with some really cool people and had a baby with one of them. To all those young people who are picking up the scene, KEEP IT REAL...dont fake the FUNK, BE YOURSELF, thats the secret. Dont let the POPO get you down. The MAN has been Stomping his feet on FUN for a long time now. Organize your own parties, small quaint and intimate. Massives are Great and all, and there is nothing like rockin the beat with 50,000 other people (shout out to my peeps in the "how Sweet it is" scene), but find a private spot, where noise is no issue and no one can tell you to stop. Use Private Land, Use abandond wherehouses, Use Fields in the middle of B.F.E. The scene came about thru brotherhood, Peace, Love and FUN. Drugs are fun, when used in moderation, DONT BE A CRACKHEAD, no one likes it when you pass out. LOVE YOURSELF, BE YOURSELF, the rest will follow. HIT ME BACK IF anyone wants to try to put together a cool party...
