Hi,

Does anyone know if i can use my Canon Speedlite 199A flash on a Canon EOS 300? (in manual mode, of course).

I am worried the power/current is different and it might spoilt the camera. Has anyone tried it before?

Unfortunately I do not know the answer because I am trying to find out whether or not this flash will fit into the Canon Flash Couplers D, F, and L?? Do you know if it will by any chance? Thanks! Ernie

I have just tested an 199A on my Canon Powershot G3, works fine.

I should work on an EOS model as well.
