new tamron 24-135 f/2.8 ?

i'd read from a photography magazine that tamron produced such a lens recently. did anyone use it? any comment?

Don't think tamron produced a f/2.8 24-135mm lens...I know they produced a slower variable f lens in this zoom range. If they made such a lens it would be damn heavy. I've heard that canon are making a 24-105mm L series lens...but haven't had that one confirmed yet and don't know what the f stop will be for it.

the lens is not an F/2.8. It's an F/3.5-5.6 SP AD Aspherical Macro.
