1885 chartered train

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Southern Railway : One Thread

In 1885, Rev. George C. Green and other families in Cedartown, Polk County, Georgia, chartered a train to take them west to Texas to settle there. I only know the date. I do know the Central of Georgia was one of the two RR that crossed through Cedartown and many of the Green family men, including my grandfather, Samuel Adge Green worked on it.

I am looking for any data that may help me get more information on this chartered train.
