NEW FORUM? Informative but secure

greenspun.com : LUSENET : North Carolina Raves : One Thread

This Forum is a great place to spread love & info. But it's not hard to find this site, some of the posted qestions if answerd UP FRONT could fall into the wrong hands... I.e pigs, parents, preachers, teachers ...ect. Not that these qestions don't deserve answers. Things like directions, parties in one's area or state. We need a safer way to comunicate. Then qestions like that could be answerd. Oh Yeah I don't consider club events to be Raves either, there fuckin commerialized and have pigs and security all over place(though clubs are nice when you cant find a good rave anywhere). To many people ask about how to get to Raves in their area and wear they are and nobody is getting good answers. Because its not safe to answer in here. We need to know who we can trust, This is after all an underground movement (at least it was). Any suggestions?

Hey, I totally agree with the whole club thing not being a rave. It is an underground movement and we should keep it that way. Spread the plurr and keep ot alive. Keep the scene alive. That is part of our mission these commercialized days, right? Spread the rubber band out there where you live , would ya? I dunno of you heard of it or not but this is it... Wear a blue rubber band on each wrist. This way, you will know who out there is your family. You don't have to write anything on it, or promote anything on it. Hust wear them with pride and plurr. Hopefully you will meet up with a stranger on day and you can shake their hand and say hi and tell them your name and they can look down at your hand and see that you are family trying to keep this thing real. Definalty DO NOT make it a trend. If people that shun the scene ask, tell em' it signifies the way you feel, your love for music, or family. Or just say that it has meaning to you and leave it at that. Say what you will, but no trends should be made of this. Blue rubber bands people. FAmily in Virgina told me about this. He told me that he was tired of not knowing who was out there like him. He started this and now it is groing. Spread it people! Spread tha love! Safe raving! ~plurr out! ~Maggie
