Exposure stumper

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

The average American, whom reads newspapers, magazines, and billboards, and does watch TV on a daily basis is exposed to _____ advertizements per day?

In that number/amount stumpers are more difficult to answer than single word answer stumpers, the first person within 25 will be declared the winner.

Who woke her up!!?? I havent seen that name on here for since forever!! Are you out of retirement? 560 is correct, 1998 stats.

That is way too many advertisements!!!

-- Melissa in SE Ohio (me@home.net), May 30, 2002.

Should be 560

-- Bob in WI (bjwick@hotmail.com), May 31, 2002.

LOL - wish I could retire! :-) I've just been busy, Mitch. Seems like there's always too much to do on the farm, and not enough time to do it. But, my allergies are kicking in big time now, so I've got to limit my outdoor time.

Cheryl, try consuming locally produced honey, the enzimes from local stuff should help.

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), May 31, 2002.

Thanks, Mitch! We buy honey from a local guy here (it's SOOOO good!) and that does seem to help. My allergies aren't as bad as they were last year. I'm not having to use nearly as much OTC allergy meds. Last year (pre-honey) I was taking the OTC stuff every 2 hours just to keep from clawing my eyes out. This year, I take it maybe once every couple of days is all. I'm still having to use my asthma inhaler more than I would like - but it is getting better! That local honey sure does help! And I just try to stay indoors as much as possible. That helps too.
