Are stock certificates purchased in 1934 of any value today?

Only as collector's items. Any equity in the Seaboard Air Line Railway that was represented by these certificates was wiped out in the reorganization of 1946. The value to a collector would be between $5 and $10, with bonds being worth a bit more.

Hope this helps.
