Refusal to supply information

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

I have just asked for proof of my lenders calculations for my £24,000 shortfall. I have never seen any of it in this debts 6 year history, just a completion statement. I asked for all the usuals (deeds, mig, valuations, terms and conditions etc) and they refused the lot.

On request of a copy of the valuation of my property (I believe they undersold it) they have replied "the valuations are a matter between our clients and the valuers and they are not obliged to provide this information".

It all seems very unco-operative.

Any ideas on how to reply?

All help or advice will be gratefully appreciated.

Which Lender? Just SARN them - they have no choice but to cough up with it all then.
