Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who breeds Dwarf Nubians in my area. I live in NJ. I had someone's phone number in Pennsylvania but lost it. I was hoping for a blue, eyed buck. Any information will be appreciated. The MiniNubian site couldn't help. Thanks.

I found someone is PA. She has a buckling but he doesn't have blue eyes. She does have another doe due in July so we'll see. If not, I may just wait until next year.

My sister gave me some names in VA and I'm planning to visit this summer anyway so...

What are they breeding/crossing to get the minature nubians? I have an accidental minature. Bought a doe at a stock sale, bred her to my buck, when she had the baby ( just the one doe kid) her bag was so damaged you couldn't get a drop of milk from her, and I ended up bottle feeding the baby.

Whether it was the milk, or the fact I weaned her earlier than normal, she is about half the size of a regular nubian.

I am a fool for any critter with blue eyes. I almost bought Nigerian dwarfs - - just for that reason, so I'm wondering if the cross is between the Nigerians and Nubians?

Yes, you are right, that is the mix. They are experimental and can be registered but are starting to get popular. I'm going to a goat show tomorrow. I don't think I'll find one there but who knows...
