2002 F5 improvements to F4

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

I was reading an article in Motorcyclist, Pg. 27. They were discussing the status of the MV buyout. In it they mentioned F5 inspired improvements on the 2002 F4's (engine). Anyone know what the specifics are? Also, how does the open exhaust / chip combo effect the low rpm performance of the engine? At this point, I'm still stock.

The wrongly dubbed F5 (5 cylinders?!) is the 1000cc version of the F4. Rumors has it that the liter engine has been tested on select MV race teams. The appearance package is a guess. The producibility is also a guess. People are waiting for F4s', Sennas, SPRs, Brutale Oros, and Brutale Stradas. How can they justify another line?

If you want more power and want to keep the looks of the F4, try Casoli. They have an F4 big bore kit, 1st to the market.
