Hello . I got the Eos300 4 month a go - toke pics with no problem . Suddenly the LCD started disappearing - I change the batteries Open the camera - it worked fine for 1 day - than again the LCD Is gone - cant see anything - but the camera takes the pics ok.

Please advice

Your LCD failure is a fluke probably due to a defective component and is rare. Nevertheless, the LCD failed in my EOS 1N after 11 months! However, the 10 year old LCDs in my A2 and Elan are perfect. Like the other poster said, get thee to a Canon Service Center--it's under warranty.
