Just read in the ronny gillgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
about the plight of Newcastles cooncil hooses. They interviewed a woman who was only 38 yet had 7 kids, that means for at the last 14 years she has been either pregnant or just given birth. And I bet she's still ower the bigg market every frida neet.

Another pregnancy.................

apparently it is what they were originally designed for, and I'd guess somewhere along the line a guy was involved

Did you mean 28? At 38 she's had towards 25 years of being fertile. How old was she when she had her first child?

Also, it's not uncommon nowadays for step-children to bolster family size.

on reflection I guess it's not a big deal since she may have been poppin 'em oot since she was 16.

`Scuse me! Seven kids IS a big deal! Having seven children is a huge financial commitment. Not knowing all the circumstances, maybe I shouldn`t comment, but it does make you wonder who actually is footing the bills. (:o|

Wasn't there some bint in Liverpewl who had 15 kids and had two council houses next door to each other. I think she was a little bit older than 38 like :)

yer jokin, 15?? They must just have been faallin oot. She'd gan shoppin and come back with another one.

There were a pair of triplets and one set of twins, (which is 10 for those that got a low IQ score :) ).She must really love child birth to have 15 kids though, most would stop after the triplets - bloody hell Leverkusen are getting bloody close to a last minute equaliser, it's a proper Euro final :)

Pair of triplets as in 2 x 3 = 6 and a set of twins as in 2. Isn't that 8? :o))

Sorry, thought it was obvious sarcasm :)

Oh I see - pregnant 10 times. You're too good for me Paul! :o))

One of my grannies was a third world baby machine too - my dad is one of 14 (7 of each, no twins or triplets). All of my uncles and aunts on that side of the family are married now and they`ve all got 2-4 kids. I have a LOT of first cousins!

Same for me ADK.13 on my mums side, 8 on my dads. Good Irish Catholic stock. Still never seemed to get my full quota of pressy's as a kid though.

I was kinda hopin' that this thread would've been hijacked by now. Has anyone seen the commercial that shows a lad and a small dog standing across the street from a bus stop/shelter?? Anyway this lad is trying to get his small dog to jump up and take the biscuit out of his hand, this goes on for several seconds with the dog on its hind legs. Finally the dog jumps up and as the dog is in mid flight this lad volleys him across the street into the bus stop and then proceeds to celebrate. This is a commercial for umbro.

My grandfather was one of 13. No twins/triplets etc, although 3 died young. They most certainly weren't Catholic either. It must have just been a natural benevolent inclination in those days to try and populate the world with Geordies.

I thought I sent that to you Lonley, are you allowed to get attachments at work?I can send one to you too Galaxy, I thought it was funny, though they did not have a disclaimer that "no stunt dogs were hurt in making this commercial"

it is funny as the proverbial. Dunno how they got away with it. I'd be more than happy to send it to you, if you want, or anyone else for that matter.
