I need some wire for about 8 baskets 5.5 long with 4X4 openings that are 5 feet tall. Is it possible for me to mail-order this from you? Thank you for your time.

Hello Sandra,

Hello,

It is not an item that would economically ship. The material is readily available at farm stores, hardware store, and building material supplires like The Home Depot. I hope that this helps.

Best Regards,

Mike

I use concrete reinforcement mesh for my tomato baskets. This is the most economical material that will carry the weight of the mature plants and last for many years. Home Depot sells a 150 ft. roll 5 ft. high for $55. You will need to secure the baskets indivivually or, if they are close enough, to each other to keep from falling over in windy conditions. Concrete rebar, 1/2" diameter cut to 4 ft. lengths works well.
