Can anyone give me any information on the Vivitar 2X Macro Teleconverters? How good are they? What sould their approximate value be?

I have one for my Canon FD mount camera. My wife has one for Nikon mount that she has used for years. They are multicoated and images are fine when you stop down a few stops. I think I paid $15 to $20 for mine used, at a local camera repair shop.

They have 7 elements, as contrasted with the cheaper 4 element teleconverters.
