Answers

I called the 800 Technical Support line this morning and spoke to Nicole. I explained I put new batteries in the replacement collar and it worked for a matter of minutes, but is no longer working. She said she would send me another unit and once received, I should mail the other one back to her. I told her the model number of the unit, but did not specifically mention which collar.

I received the receiver and collar on the 31st of March. Put some batteries in and it works!

Aparently the collar I mailed back got delivered to someplace in Georgia. It should have gone to Tenneesee. I called the technical support number and had to get a manager on the phone. Got Nick. Nick listened to the story and agreed to put a new collar in the mail. The invoice number for the collar is 183484.

He would like me to track down where the other one is.

I dropped the receiver into a USPS mailer and sent it on it's way on the 17th of March. 0301 0120 0005 5653 1699 is the USPS number to be used to check delivery confirmation.

Today I sent the receiver, without the collar or batteries, back to the manufacturer. I mailed from the Finksburg Post Office and I requested a delivery confirmation.

Over the past weekend, we noticed that the wireless fence was no longer working. I changed out several sets of known working batteries and the unit still did not work. I checked out the website and there is a lifetime warranty on the hardware and one year on the labor. I am planning on calling this morning to see what the next step should be.

I found a 25 pack of replacement batteries at the following location... http://www.zbattery.com/zbattery/cr2032-25.html. 25 batteries cost $22.25 and they charged $4.68 for UPS ground shipping. Total bill is $26.93. This works out to $1.07 per battery. Rick will purchase 12 of these batteries for a cost of $12.92.

The replacement batteries are CR2032 3 volt Lithium. The unit needs 2 batteries for operation.
