the God Bag..thanks, Howard -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this was sent to me and I wanted to share it with you....

When something like this comes up in my life, I've used the old God Bag thing for years. Write down on a piece of paper, what you'd like God to do for you, that's beyond your ability to handle, and then take a 100 pound grocery sack, brown paper, and put it on the piano or somewhere, with the name God Bag on it. Then keep prayin, but hand the process of finding your dad over to God, and let him find him and bring him back. Remember. He's not lost to God. he's just lost to you guys. Ask God to find him, believe that he Will find him, allow him to find him, trust him to find him, and then just let go and allow him to find him. But keep praying. I'll pray too, and ask my friends as well. h

Nother things. Poem I remember partly, if i'm right.

I took my pain to God one day And asked for help, you know

But he didn't work fast enough for me And I went back and told him so

He sat and sadly looked at me, And said, "There's one thing you should know."

"I gladly would have helped you, But you never did let go."

Re: the God Bag..thanks, Howard -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Howard and Sue.

"He's not lost to God."

It’s so true, but something we so easily forget in times of trouble. If we allow Him to take care of it, He will. We are never lost from our Father.

THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED THE PRESENT." I have been thinking of you everyday and praying for your Dad.These are emotional times and it seems that the tribulations are great.I personally think of it as homework before the big test, which is coming.I feel we are all learning something from each other. Peace with you , Jeanne SAR01 ezOP Posts: 7161 (10/30/01 2:42:19 am) 148.71.220.46 Reply | Edit | Del Community Supporter
