More music - Al Stewart & Ian Hunter/Mick Ralphs @ Tyne Theatregreenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
The Tyne Theatre seems to be THE place for old music fogeys. Not content to bring you Eric Burdon, they have Ian Hunter & Mick Ralphs out of Mott the Hoople next Saturday, and Al Stewart the following Wednesday. I might well go to one of them on my trip back.

You forgot to mention Petula Clark's upcoming appearance Barry - no seriously! There are some pretty good Blues concerts coming up, including a couple by Buddy Guy who apparently was fantastic in his last appearance.
For guitar officianados, Australian Tommy Emmanuel is making another appearance later in the year - he is really special.

Got tickets for Ian Hunter a few weeks ago. Really looking forward to it. I missed him last year as he was playing the same night as Dan Baird.
