Dazzle Movie on dvd player, after ten minutes jerky

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

please I am new to this. I have worked hours and finally accomplished getting my old home movies of my kids on a cd-rw. I went out and bought a panasonic dvd player that I was told would play my cd. It does but ten minutes into the movie. It becomes terribly jerky and unwatchable. Of course, even though i know very little, I know more than anyone I ask. Please help me.

Try a CD-R, CD-RW have a slower read speed than CD-Rs. Your DVD player is having a hard time trying to read 'nuff data to form a crisp picture

Does your video play well on your computer? This is a VCD forum so I am assuming you are talking 'bout a VCD not a DVD

I had this problem....I was using the moviestar software and if I produced it through this the same would happen... I had forgotten to switch from fastest rendering to VCD when I was done the production I also tried writing as much of the disk that I could...if I burned 30 minutes instead of say 60 it would happen . I changed these 2 things and everything has been fine.
