I found the problem with the help of the Aristo people. I have a B-22 cold head crammed inside the head. It's a circular head where it should be a square head. Gotta love ebay huh?

So my new question is this: If I raise the head about a half inch above the surface of the diffusion plate... will it be able to print okay... or do I have to invest in a new system all-together?

have you got the condensor head? try that ;) (I only have the condensor head for my M601 and it works fine)
