Will floating row cover work o.k. instead of netting over cherry trees?

a floating row cover over TREES?? that will be a large cover, the netting for cherry treese is usually alot smaller than for apples/pears/plums, ect. anything that willcover thr fruit,, without aloowing the fruit to pass thru, and without harming the tree. Clear or black plastci may not be sucha good idea

Cindy, if you are talking about the light weight poly-spun fabric, I've seen people here cover their blueberry bushes with it. They do tie it off (loosely) at the bottom around the trunk. I don't see why you couldn't try this on your cherry trees. Let us know how it works!
