Off to Sheep and Wool

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

We are planning on going to the Sheep and Wool Festival tomorrow (Saturday).

Is anyone else from here going? Would like to meet you if possible.

At anyrate, I'll be wearing my straw hat with the big yellow flower on the back. I hope the beautiful weather we are having today will hold out for tomorrow as well.

I am sooo envious! But with our distance and my off the farm full time job can't ever go. Maybe when I retire in 3 years! Have fun !Kate

Was planning on attending but the angora goats have a different idea. Have 5 more does to go and then I'm out of here for a few days. Next year will be different, all babies will be birthed by the first weekend in May so help me!!!! Went to the festival several years ago for just a morning and really enjoyed it, would like to go for the whole thing, lots of info and ideas. Go if you can, you'll learn a lot.

Nope, but I'll be at Estes in June! Anyone else? The first National Colored Angora Goat Show will be there; I'm going to volunteer my services to help inspect goats for registration and at the GAGBA hospitality booth. See you there! Have a GREAT time at Sheep & Wool! debra in nm, cuesta farm, home of happy and very colorful angora goats.

I envy any one going to Maryland.Wish it was me. My friend Kathy Harbert will be at Estes Park in June and I know she will have a lot to do with Colored Angoras. She has written a book about them. You all have a good time. Terry
