Resistance Spot Welding Electrodes

Can some please tell which electrodes sell more truncateds or the dome types and the source from the answer.

This question comes up a lot in battery pack welding. A domed electrode produces a hotter weld, due to the reduced surface area in contact with the weld area. Unfortunately no standard (that I am aware of) exists for the radius of the dome, and they are hard to maintain. You are better off using a flat (truncated) electrode if you can. The website listed in Sam's email is a good source of electrodes.

We have a new welding tip called TUNGCORE tip. It is a truncated tip with an insert of an alloy of copper and tungsten. This will make a much harder tip than class II copper. It last about 10 times longer.
