The other day when I was online I had to run and duck for cover a few times as well! Our forecast for NE Alabama is severe thunderstorms again this evening, but right now it is gorgeous here! How did you make out?, and remind us..where are you ?

lesley-----don't know where you are in Alabama, we are in Boaz and it looks like the storms are skipping us tonight. My daughter lives in Calhoun, Georgia and came to stay with us yesterday. Most of their city is still without power and kids still can't go to school. She said it was bad, but couldn't picture it until I saw the news. Thank God she and the kids made it down here. Stay safe, it seems like our bad weather for Alabama is started for the spring and summer.

We are in South Central Ky-we had a severe thunderstorm warning, no tornado but the kids did "sit in the hall" at school, thats what they do during a tornado warning, no serious damage here-but our phone did get zapped yesterday-fortuantly, I had unplugged the computer, lots of rain, just absolute downpour, we happen to be away from major rivers, but theres bad flooding on the KY river, and the Cumberland- Eastern Ky got hit pretty hard. We were going to do some gardening/landscaping this weekend, but everything is pretty soggy-I wish we could send some rain to the drought areas.

I'm sure glad you're OK!!!! We had more rock and rolling here from 3:30 this morning all through the day until late afternoon, with more of the same forecast for tonight..arghhhhh...we have 4 dogs and it drives our huge Kuvasz insane..she's so big that we used to give her "doggie downers" but by the time they worked, the storm was over.she barks and barks and BARKS unless you cuddle with her....We take turns cuddling with this beast..I figure that under other circumstances, she will defend me to the death, so I'll put up with her little neurosis..LOL.... but cuddling all night with a 150 pound Kuvatz who is panting and drooling is not much fun.this same dog will face down mountain lions (if there were any here)..go figure...
