Turn-X Incubator help

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have the use of a Turn-X incubator that was given to my neighbour. No instructions. (of course the neighbour hasn't used it either, and is no help!) The main problem is that I think there is a piece broken and missing. There is nothing that goes from the motor box for the turner (the end of the little arm is missing) to the incubator itself. I assume there is some kind of wire. Can anyone describe what this looks like, and where it actually attaches to the incubator in order to turn the eggs? If anyone has a copy of the directions (or can tell me where to send to get a copy) it would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

Might try contacting this seller of incubators, Lyon Electric Co., http://www.multiscope.com/hotspot/brooder3.htm

Bernadette, I have a Turn-X. The little arm you're aluding to is L- shaped. there's nothing on the end of it. On the grid there is a white plactic ring that fits over the "L." You must lift up the grid to get the ring over the arm. Hope this helps.
