Name of the Southern/SAL crossing in Charleston : LUSENET : Southern Railway : One Thread

Not having a Southern 1930-1940 era ETT, I was hoping that someone might be able to tell me what the Southern called the Southern/SAL crossing (interlocking) in Charleston, SC. I recall seeing a photograph that showed the tower to be of an SAL design. Thanks in advance for any help.

Buddy -

Like you, I'm lacking a SR emp tt for the Charleston area, but in a 1935 SAL emp tt the crossing is called "Bay Junction". If the tower, or signal box as the British call 'em, was a SAL construct, then that would be the name on the building, IF the SAL applied names to their interlocking control towers.
