I am trying to find out if there is any way of carrying out Stop Motion animation using the Pinnacle DV500. The Stop Motion feature on Adobe Premiere 6 is inactive, as the DV500 isn't supported for that feature and Stop Motion Pro doesn't support the DV500 as they say the card is not OHCI(?) compatible. The only glimmer of hope I have seen, was someone who had added a further simple firewire card to his system to do frame grabs, but he had to rebuild his PC as dual boot system otherwise the two cards clashed.

After having bought a high end video card, I am somewhat dissapointed that it cannot be used to carry out what appears to be a relativly simple task.
