Atlantic Salmon is correct, reaching 15 feet out of the water.

New question: What is it called when you fear laughing to death?

-- mitch hearn (, April 22, 2002.

the ocean flying fish, can reach over 30 feet in the air,, so,either you need to refine your questions,, (again), or do a tad bit more research,, I used google, and found flying fish

-- Stan (, April 22, 2002.

The source of the info stated that "the Atlantic Salmon is the highest 'jumping' fish, clearing the water by 15 feet"; there was no mention of flying fish which use air currants and I did not think about them when I formulated the question, I will go in and see what I can find.

The currant question's answer sounds like little bit like a brand of breakfast cereal before phobia.
