For a fun 3/D first Border around a mini quilt cut 4 strips the length of your sides, 1 1/2" wide. Fold each wrong sides together and press. Sew the two sides on the quilt, raw edges matching, and then the top/bottom, then go on to your other borders. This is a nice effect and fun to do. LQ
