Hi, My Rebel-G QD began acting up recently. The battery indicator was showing low battery. So I put in 2 new CR123A batteries. The indicator then shows full batteries. But when I try to take a picture, it would focus fine, then it would make a whirling noise and shuts down. The only indicator on is an outline of the battery.

Would anyone know if this is a known problem and if there is an easy fix? I tried other new batteries and same thing happens.

Take the lens off & try it again. If that fixes it, clean the lens and lens mount contacts or replace the lens. Another thing to try is to clean the battery contacts on both the new battery and inside the camera. If it still has problems... I'm out of ideas.
