I was raised in Mass. and at the seafood places they sold pickled limes in a jar. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make them. thanks.

Type bracketed "pickeled lime recipe" into google, there are over 900 entries, most use rock salt and chili spice. What do you do with these things after you make them? I have no use for limes or chili spice.

Limes are necessary for the consumption of Tequila. Chili spice necessitates the consumption of Tequila. Hence, both are basic survival items.

There is a great recipie on the back of the lime package folks use to make them from. I can't recall the name, been a few yrs since I made them. I used the recipie from Carla Emerey's book, "Encylopedia of Country Living, they turned out great. If I ahve time I'll post that recipie.
