do you know a way to make my own emulsion? i am interested in a cheap ,easy to make, emulsion with no high quality standards. i want to apply it just anywhere possible. on plastic objects, on furniture, on clothes, on the walls!!!

Answers

Luminos and Liquid Light are a few that are ready made liquid emulsions and are fast enough for projection printing. They usually can be gotten at a good photo shop.

You might try the alternative photographic (printing out) processes, which mostly involve coating the paper by yourself: Platinotype, Argyrotype, Cyanotye and Bromoil might be of interest.

thanks scott,thanks marc! i'll search at the local stores for "liquid light" (what a name!) and i'll browse the net for details on the alternative processes you suggested me. hope my enthusiasm on experimenting on this, won't run out by walking to all the photographic stores, or by surfing for hours!

Stavros, You might do a search for a book called, Silver Gelatin. I can't recall the author at the moment, but it would be easy to find . I think that you may enjoy this book as there are many formulas for making your own emulsions.
