Charlie It sounds as if you using too short a lens (135mm??) Except for Fuji W's most lenses need to be 150mm to cover a 4 X 5 neg. Fuji has a slightly bigger field of view The top and bottom differences are another story. You can loosen the four screws under the negetive carrier and ajust slighly. Put a long ruler in the negetive carrier opening, with a long edge sticking out. put a level on this ruler (any good flat edge) and check the bubble position in relation to putting it on the baseboard. Do this in both directions. I have seven D-2/ D-5's in my workshop darkroom and the only time I see this problem is when the enlarger is wall mounted and there's no baseboard. Good luck

You may need to adjust the column angle. I have shims in place to make my D2 parallel. There are no lens board adjustments, so I shimmed the column to make the lensboard parallel to the base board. Then adjust the four screws to adjust the negative stage.
