Is anyone interested in giving a good home to some ducks, chickens and geese?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

We are looking for people who may be interested in taking a few geese (various breeds), Muscovey ducks and assorted chickens (some bantams) that would give them a good home. My father had a small farm with assorted poultry, he took in all kinds of birds and livestock that no one wanted. He passed away last May and we have been maintaining the farm for almost one year now but would like to find homes for some of the birds as it is too much for us to continue to maintain. We would like someone who is interested in raising them for the eggs instead of butchering them. We live in southeastern Michigan. If anyone is interested in giving them a good home please email me. Thank you.

Donna, are you posting this on the Poultry Forums also? It might spread the word around a bit more. And putting up notices at the feed stores in your area? Just an idea. Hope you find good homes for all of them. LQ
