it's jelly making time

If your dandylions and violets are blooming it's time to make jelly. The recipes should be in countryside's archives under ' 4jellies and a jam' and either this forum or self-reliance.

I made the violet infusion and froze it, haven't done that before, but I think it should be fine, the dandylion will go in the freezer tonight. It's supposed to rain later this week, so I'll make the jelly then.

If you make the dandylion, remember it takes a long time to take the petals out of the caps, but you don't want any green in the infusion.

Hope some of you try this, the dandylion jelly tastes like lemon honey and the violet is mild with a taste of it's own.
