Delta 400 - how sensitive is it to developing conditions

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

Tri-X has a reputation of being a very forgiving film when it comes to developing conditions ( time, temperature, etc.), while I have heard that you have to be more careful with T-MAX. How does Delta 400 compare to these two.

Delta 400 is much more tolerant of processing errors than the TMAX films. In that respect, it is more like Tri-x than TMAX.

I haven't found Delta 400 to be particularly sensitive to processing variations, no more than HP5+. But of course one should be as precise and repeatable as possible.
