Things You Can Learn From A Dog...

*Be loyal *Take naps and stretch before rising *When loved ones come home, always run and greet them *Run, romp, and play daily *Never pass up an opportunity to go for a joyride *Avoid biting when a simple growl will do *Never pretend to be something you're not *No matter how often you're scolded, don't pout; run right back and make friends *On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree *If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it *When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body *When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close, and nuzzle him or her gently Anonymous found in a book called "Spirit Let Woman" Oct/Nov 2000 Issue thought it was worth sharing... Be Blessed and Have a Great Day!!!!!!!!

*When loved ones come home, always run and greet them * This one works wonders with my husband. I've found that if I meet him at the door,no matter how his day went, this puts him in a great mood. I think by stopping whatever I'm doing,it shows him he is important to me...and I can actually see the problems of his day at work fade away.

Good advice all around, but that particular one stuck out for me...

True, but the main thing my bulldog taught me was "if you can't eat it, wiz on it". :>)

LOL Blair! My German shepherd does the same thing. LOVE their attitudes. Last one I had, her motto for life was "The world revolves around Me. You were put on this earth to cater to Me." And the beastie that I have now, his motto is "What's in it for Me? You were put on this earth to cater to Me."

I admire a dog's ability to unabashedly, at any time or place, be able to scratch where it itches.

How about," If it is really gross and smelly, roll in it". You discover who your real friends are.
