FREE family Great Pyrenese, son developing health problems

As much as we hate to, my family must give away our pet, a male Great Pyr approx. 2 yrs old..named Shemya. Gorgeous dog, we get compliments every time he visits Petsmart, indoors 99% of the time this past year (we just bought our house, have'nt built fence yet, he's been great indoors), has been with our family (4 yr old son, 9 yr old daughter, and cat) since approx. 4-6 mos old..all shots, neutered, clean, comes with ALL of the accessories a big dog should have: Largest dog crate ever made, disassembles bowls, brushes, shampoo, ear cleaner, nail clips, etc..leashes, it all must go, my son has developed children's asthma and health problems and Shemya is just to big and hairy to have around him, as much as we love him. Shemya was acquired by us as a rescue/stray and has had no issues since we've had him, he basically lies around and sleeps in the doorways! He's a big gentle pooch, I'm sure he'd love a huge farm or giant fenced-in yard. He has been to my daughter's elementary school and son's pre-K to visit with the kids and was a HIT! He loves kids and they seem to love him..email woogey@beer.com for information, we're in the Atlanta area.

Wish I lived near Atlanta...our lovable 19 year old, St. Bernard, German Shepard mix dog, "King" was put down on St. Patrick's Day. I would love to have your big fella to ease the pain....Good luck finding him a home....Harmony

We are grateful for all of the replies, we have found a wonderful home for Shemya at a place where we are confident he will be fully spoiled..there are some female dogs there and loving new parents. We could not imagine Shemya at a better place! Thanks again to all those interested, and good luck.
