Working Mom

I made a decision today concerning my life And although I am a caring mother and a pretty decent wife

I felt that it was time to break out on my own To listen to the clock inside Instead of the one by my phone

For many years I've wakened to the ringing in my head A certain time was set for me to get up out of bed

Now I can relax, and on my computer I do roam Be it morning noon or night I make a living from my home

No longer a slave to the big boss man No longer on the clock My coffee breaks are longer now Without ever being docked. . .
