IMPLANTED CHIPS AND NECESSARY HOMESTEAD EQUIPMENT

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

What would you have in place on your homesteads if inplanted chips suddenly became mandatory?? On the morning show they interviewed a family who will have their chips implanted(for medical reasons) on tv in a week or 2. Then on point of view they picked up a story similar in nature with author Grant Jefferies. The radio program touched on a similar story of how these could be used against christians. We have lived out here for 20+ years but only recently purchased a tractor and we are still learning how to use it(handy man jack!). We try to be as self sufficient as possible, but would like to know what would be the most inportant things to have in place, just in case. Thanks in advance, Teresa

It's not likely that our generation will have to deal with this. The technology is too new. By the time people get used to the idea of chips as a way of keeping track of citizens, our generation will probably be dead and gone. Our children will have to deal with this one, just as our generation dealt with the Cuban missle crisis, Viet Nam, the threat of destroying our planet with nuclear missles, the cold war, and last September. Just as our parents dealt with the great depression, Korea, and 2 world wars. I'm not saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to have to deal with it, I'm just saying it is UNLIKELY that we will have to deal with it.

At that point............. a boat and a map to Cuba.

A scalpel. stun gun or degaussing unit.

This problem does belong to "our generation". Pretty soon they will be sold to the government and contractors for their high-security facilities and then from there it will filter down to the rest of society. England has already stated that their new national ID cards will be voluntary but those citizens who don't get one will not be able to receive government benefits or purchase certain items like gasoline. Now England can use a chip instead of an ID card. Will this be the "mark of the beast"? If I lose my retirement benefits and my job because I won't get the chip then I would say "yes". We can only wait and see.

I'm confused... Isn't the mark of the beast something that happens AFTER the rapture? That's what I was taught to believe. If that's true, wouldn't Christians not need to worry?

-- Confused (noemail@nospam.com), April 08, 2002.

Thats what I was taught too, Im not afraid of the mark of the beast, But let me tell you, I am concerned about those I love being left behind..... THAT SCARES ME!!!!

-- Kristean Thompson (pigalena_babe@yahoo.com), April 08, 2002.

Related Worry: Many times over the past few years my cash money was refused when trying to purchase something. Only credit cards were accepted. Things like used books, internet services, car rentals, moving van rentals. I'm sure that this is only the tip of the iceberg. I think that is creepy...refusing someone's real cash money-- -and I'm not talking checks. Those that won't take cash do not get my business, but it seems that's no skin off their noses. Didn't bother them a bit to refuse me.

We take each day one day at a time regarding such things, and we plan to have what we need, the MUST have things and the extras, before we move. We have an on-going list and buy on sale as much as we can the things we will need, and I setteled it in my heart long ago that if it came down to it I would get in the line to have my head cut off.

When ever I see signs of the coming times I pray, and listen in prayer times, for what we should do and when.

Some of the things we have now are, a wood heating stove, good kitchen equipment, seeds and garden tools, guns & bullets, tools for their care, other tools for wood working and car repair and house hold needs, good referance books,a electric sewing machine and a foot treadle one, {I still need to get a hand powered grain mill} and most of all the knowledge of HOW TO DO, and WHAT TO DO, to make it out there with out having to buy what we need.

We WILL have to deal with issue in our lifetime! As you have noticed time is speeding up as we approach the end. As a Christian, you must, I repeat must, be prepared to die for your faith. Once you have settled that in your heart and spirit go about on your way doing what God wants you to do. The "powers that be" are already conditioning us for a cashless society...in 2003 rainbow (colored currency) will be unveiled (see USA Today 3/18/02 Money section)...this will be followed by the cashless smartcard system that is already being used in Canada. The final stage is the chip/mark/whatever. As a Christian your faith is to be in Jesus, not the rapture..."let no man deceive you..." I used to believe in the rapture but after much study dont totally subscribe to it. Heres a link http://pub36.bravenet.com/freelink/show.php?usernum=3050418191 You need to study and come to your own conclusions! I am preparing as much as possible, but the most important thing is to have your faith and a relationship with Him who created this beautiful earth...He is well able to sustain you, whatever comes!

I think we will have to deal with it in our lifetime as well. If you look at the world situation, things are certainly "speeding up" toward the end or at least to some huge changes that aren't going to be good.

As far as the rapture and the mark of the beast goes, first of all, keep in mind that the book of Revelation may or may not be chronilogical order. We really don't know for certain. We also don't know for certain if the rapture will take place before, during or after the anti-christ takes power. It just is not 100% clear on that issue. Forget what you have been "taught". Read the bible for yourself and you will see. Don't take it out of context and don't read between the lines. You will see that it certainly is not clear on when the rapture will occur. If you read you will see that we are not suppose to know when it will happen anyway. It is a matter of being ready at all times! By the way, the word "rapture" never even appears in the bible -- it is a manmade word. Another reason to read it for yourself.

B.T. - we posted at the same time. Is that a confirmation??????

Well in place(with manual backup) Food Storage,Seeds(non-hybrid),off- grid elec, books, fuel supply(wood, gas, diesel, etc)wood stove, weapons. For animals: rabbits, chickens, goats maybe horse and cow. Heres a christian website link that deals exactly what you are asking http://www.tribwatch.com/brasstac.htm Follow the chaps and it should answer your questions feel free to email me as to particulars.

-- BT Clowne (lakebreezefan@yahoo.com), April 08, 2002.

Don't they now have a chip that you can implant in your pets in case they get lost they can be found. I guess it won't be too long before us "people" are brainwashed into it too. Lost children..older people..etc. The end times...I think we have been living in the end times for some time now. A million years is like a day to God...or something like that. I guess we just need to keep our wits about us and deceide what is best for us. Scarey though.

-- Helena (windyacs@npacc.net), April 08, 2002.

All I can say is you better be a well prepared Christian and pray the rapture takes place first. This last winter I caught that ugly virus stuff and had to go to the doctor twice before I could get rid of it. I tried everything that I had at home before going to the doctor. If it hadn't been for two prescriptions for antibiotics I would probably be dead by now since I was on the verge of having phnemonia. It got me to thinking that no matter how prepared I am here at home, I still need outside help from time to time. If purchasing antibiotics with a chip was necessary and I didn't have one to use, my wife and children would have had to try to live life without me.

Be prepared to go on the first wave!

How about a pocket-sized EMP generator to take the chip out of commision? (EMP stands for electromagnetic pulse. It is an existing technology that the military could use to destroy all electronic components over continent-sized areas).

-- dannyboy (farmerdan@yadayada.com), April 08, 2002.

I couldn't have said it better myself BT, I'm with you!!! And to Dannyboy...I am not sure what the benefit(s) of the electromagnetic thingie would be? I mean, how would that help? Yes, I know I am ignorant when it comes to stuff like that, but I would really like you to elaborate more on your comment please! Thank you!

Here's an interesting tidbit on just this subject--scary stuff:

Company to Sell Implantable Chip http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20020404/ap_on_hi_te /implantable_chip_1

< Applied Digital Solutions Inc. designed the VeriChip - about the size of a grain of rice - to hold information that could be read with special electronic scanners. The company has touted the chip as a potential way to hold a person's medical records or security codes.>>

<< For now, the VeriChip will bear only an identification number, said David Hughes of Technology Sourcing International, a consulting firm helping Applied Digital in its discussions with the FDA. But that ID code could be cross-referenced with a database to detail any kind of information.

The company said production would begin immediately.

VeriChip emits a radio signal and has been derided by some for its "Big Brother" implications. Applied Digital has said it could prove invaluable in emergency situations when someone is either unconscious or cannot otherwise give information.>>

In my opinion no one can live independently anymore. We prepared for Y2K and being already on our own farm, with electircal, plumber, welder, machinest a completely equiped shop and extensive spare parts (even had spare tires for the tractor and in feb of 2000 a three dollar part stopped it cold and could not be repaired on the farm even with the machine shop), we failed. To be completely independant you will have to give up all the modern conviences and go back to the way people lived in the country in the 1840's to 1850's. I for one do not want to go back. With my medical past I would not make it past the point where the drug store closed. Some how setting here in front of a computer screne talking to people makes me wonder just how many would give up their computer. And you can talk about how fast you will do this or that without thinking about who all you are telling it to. Good Greif Charley Brown. If the goverment or anyone wanted to keep up with every one the computer would be the way and here you are. Personally I just don't worry about it anymore. The terrest threat offers the possibility that our world as we know it could end shortly. That threat is sure more imminant than chips. And I forgot is that cow or buffalo chips.

-- David in North al. (bluewaterfarm@mindspring.com), April 09, 2002.

There appear to be similarities in these events/reactions to some pre- Y2k situations. Perhaps some lessons we learned then could be applied now.

-- Jay Blair in N. AL (jayblair678@yahoo.com), April 09, 2002.

Jay, I think your right. We learned a lot about stocking up and getting ready in way we never even thought of before. At least we know now we can do it. We might not ever be totally independant of the world, but (barring any really serious medicial problems) we sure could probably manage to survive the first or second wave. Although if I am without a computer or my forum buddies I'm not so sure..LOL!!!

Get out the keorsene. There should be a paranoid board for some of you people. Progress and innovation are not be default the sole property of the devil or the government. I would hate to hear, as the last thought that passes through my brain..."I wish we had known he was alergic to penicillin..." as they zip up the body bag. Lighten up folks, everything new is not a conspiracy

-- Rickstir (rpowell@budweiser.com), April 09, 2002.

Terri, what to you mean to new. The implanted chip has Been around for a while in animals. Its just now getting FDA approval for human use.

Also Implated ID was used very sucessesfully by the Nazi's against the jews. Not as hightech as the implanted chip but just as functional.

-- Gary (gws@columbus.rr.com), April 09, 2002.

I'd like to point out that these chips were used to mark beasts.

Don't count on easy ways out like the 'rapture' to keep one from having to face hard choices. God calls us all to follow Him in good times and bad.

-- seraphima (seraphima@ak.net), April 09, 2002.

BT, your quote "As a Christian, you must, I repeat must, be prepared to die for your faith." reminds me of the other fundamentalists whom we call terrorists.

-- L. (Anon@forobviousreasons.com), April 11, 2002.

BT stated that we must be prepared to die for our faith, NOT kill for our faith.

-- Mike (uyk7@hotmail.com), April 11, 2002.

Kathy in Indiana,

The pocket-sized EMP could generate a small, local pulse in the area of the body where the chip is implanted, thereby destroying its electronic capabilities. The technology seems relatively simple. There was an article about it in either Popular Science or Popular Mechanics a short while ago..within the last year. I am not trained in electronics so this is something beyond my grasp, but it appeared, from the article, that a trained electronic technician could fabricate such a device. It would not take out any infrastructure, just the little chip that was implanted in your body without your consent. But if it ever really comes down to this, even if one could destroy the chip, it would then mean that one could not function in the culture that had evolved to the point of making such a thing required to buy everyday necessities.

-- dannyboy (farmerdan@yadayada.com), April 11, 2002.

BT, thank you for answering the question and for the great web sites. They have a great deal to offer and I have been spending a good amount of time there. Thanks also to the rest of you positive folks! It is so good to have this forum to communicate with like minded people. I agree we need to search out the Word for ourselves, and we do. I also believe it will get pretty tough before we get raptured out of here. Stay positive in a negative world!!! Teresa

-- teresa (padsr@centurytel.net), April 12, 2002.

I would like to point out that: 1. If the chip is the "mark of the beast" and 2. And if you get it Then no matter if you cut it out or use EMP on it, you still accepted the mark and that will never change. There is no changing your mind after the fact. If the chip is the "mark of the beast" then maybe Rev 16:2 refers to some sort of allergic reaction caused by the chip(?). The "powers that be" are always telling us how this or that is good for us and won't harm us. Well, sometimes they are wrong.
