Last fall I asked about old ACL and SAL depots in the Carolina's that might be museums today. I received a flood of information. The hard part was finding out when these places were open to visit. Most are run by volunteers. Steam engines, diesels, equipment and depots. Is there a data-bank on the internet that has this information related to the ACL and SAL? If not, why not start one?

There is a Railroad Depot Historical Society that has the stations listed that have been saved and are supposed to be used as Museums. I'm not sure how accurate it is because I sent him some info on Virginia Stations a couple of months ago and it's yet to appear in his listings.It covers all railroads however.
