From the Yankee Way to Simplify Your Life/Jay Heinrichs and the Editors of yankee magazie.

How do you know if you're living simply?

1. Do you know exactly what you want out of life?
2. Do you have enough time during the day or week or year to do what you want?
3. Do your habits lead to goals?

Eight Basic Morals to the Yankee Story

1. Ignore the silver lining, Use the clous. Some of your greatest opportunities come from obstacles.
2. It's hard to set a course when you don't know where you are.
3. A well-chosen goal looks a lot like fate.
4. A wide target is easier to hit than a narrow one.
5. If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, the road to heaven is paved with habits.
6. Pleasure has more stamina than duty. We mess up our lives when we swim against our own current.
7. When you count your blessings round up. The best way to simplify your life is to know when and how to be satisfied.
8. Do nothing to excess, including doing nothing to excess. Avoid simplifying to the point of complication.

How do you know if you're living simply? Your living simply if all you own is a tooth brush and a sign that says " WILL WORK FOR FOOD"
