I have an EOS Rebel 2. I have a telephoto lens and a 50 mm lens. They have both worked great up until today when I discovered that the 50 mm auto focus will not perform. It still works fine on manual and the telephoto is fine. I cleaned the contacts but still no luck. If anyone has had this problem and solved it would you please fill me in. THANK YOU.

I just bought a 50mm F1.4 and it also does not autofocus. I am returning it asap.
