So how pronounced would a growth be and where exactly would I look, near the vaginal opening? A doeling born last month is so much bigger than sister, a much "beefier" looking, she jumps the other girls and "makes gestures". I looked but just looks enlarged on her vagina. Both parents are horned. What do you think?

The small penis could be felt inside the vagina, the only one I have seen looked like a pea, but was inside. Her vulva was also very small, much smaller and immature compared to her sisters, and tightly tipped up. Being horned or not isn't really the point, and I would bet there is alot more of this that goes on than we think, and with new information the polled intersex condition I think could be debunked if goats were money makers and there were grants for testing. Give her a chance at being bred, unless you have ultrasound cheap for you to use, or perphaps a breeder in your area who could put a speculum up her and see if she has at least outward correct plumbing. vicki

My doelings always mount each other, even after they are grown. It's a dominance thing and not usually an indication of hermaphroditism. Give her a chance until breeding season, and see if she comes into heat, unless you have too many doelings anyways.

Ok, I am probably being paranoid then. It made me wonder when I seen her at the other doelings especially where she is so much bigger, even compared to the little bucks. Her vulva is bigger than the others not smaller, she just seems over developed if that makes sense. I will continue to watch and see. I was planning on keeping her anyway(Mom is a great girl)so I will see what happens this fall.
