UPDATE to EXTREMELY URGENT/IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE FOR THE PRAYERS.HERE IS AN UPDATE ON MY UNCLE BRUCE: The heart attack was finally brought under control-this itself I'm sure was in answer to all our prayers[They did not expect him to survive this heart attack!]-and they inserted a stint.(I guess into his artery.)He got through this(the stint insertion) allright, thankfully. The doctors say that the next 48 hours are critical for him-if he survives the next 48 hours without another heart attack, then they feel his outlook is good.I don't know what kind of damage was done to his heart last night, but my Aunt Rita(his sister)said that all his vessels have major blockages...

If you all will continue to pray for him and most of all his salvation,I can't even tell you how much I'll appreciate it!Eternally! My family always seem so hard to witness to.They have that "when I'm dead,I'm dead" philosophy .

Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement! Our God IS able.He has also given me a measure of peace in this.Thank you all again and may God bless you,and bless you,and bless you!!!!

In Christian Love,

Tracy Jo

PS: He is ONLY 45 years old![His heart attack occured while snow shoveling;please be careful doing that everyone.]Also,he is divorced(not his doing) and has been depressed off-n-on about that.If any of you feel so burdened to share this request at your prayer meetings, etc. Please do:o]

He is prayed for. This might be God's way of saying "wake up." Hopefully he will heed the call. Prayers sent. Jean

ANOTHER UPDATE: My mom said that Bruce's heart has been seriously damaged.

Also,my brother, who lives near him, went to see him yesterday and reported that he is mostly sleeping. He was awake for only around 1/2 an hour at the most and didn't seem to be too aware of what he was talking about. Is this normal after a heart attack? He is on morphine. Thank you for praying! I know the very fact that he is alive is in answer to our prayers.I hope he will soon accept the Lord Jesus as his own-I hope someone may share the Good news with him and that He'll believe.

I also just learned that he is at Lutheran in Ft. Wayne not Parkview.

One last request,my husband doesn't want me to go down right now,so I will be sending him card. Please pray the Lord, that He would guide my words and provide someone to read this to my uncle:I know my family would not read anything that they thought 'religious'.

Thanks so much everyone!

The Lord keep on bleesing you all!

Tracy Jo
