Anyone want to have a potluck?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I was wondering....I feel so isolated from "like-minded" individuals (that I could truly use some inspiration from) that I thought maybe all of us homesteaders in Southeastern Ohio might get together for a good old fashioned potluck...Maybe rotate on a monthly basis from each place to the other? And maybe do a tour or something educational, while we are there or maybe help with a much needed-to-be-done chore? Anybody think this is an idea worth pursuing? Plus...I just love to eat good food!

We could turn this into a "virtual potluck" and not gain any weight....

Anyone interested in getting together for a potluck in Virginia just email me and if enough are interested, like 4 or 5 or even more, then I'll coordinate it. Sounds like a simply wonderful idea to me!

Looks like I started something here! We live in Southeastern Ohio between Pomeroy (15 mi.) and Athens (25 mi.) If we have a "virtual potluck" I'm bringing a ton of lobster tails! Who will bring the clarified butter?

I just gotta jump on the band wagon here, anyone from Tennessee Georgia or Alabama want to get together. I am in North Georgia and love to plan parties.
