Vermonters or wannabees.....

There's a group for Vermont Homesteaders. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VermontHomesteaders/join

For those looking for homesteading internships, check out http://www.homestead.com/peaceandcarrots/

We supply primitive living conditions (trailer), all the hands-on homestead experience you want and also food. If you work 10 hours/week you get to stay and learn. If you put it 20 hours/week you also get meals.

You shadow us as we go about our regular chores. We have a 2 acre garden and half acre orchard. We live in an underground house and my 18 year old daughter is building her own house on the edge of the garden. Most folks who come here are great!!!! We had a bad experience this winter and my daughter made up this page to scare off the riff raff... be afraid.....be very afraid! ;-) ;-) http://peaceandcarrots.homestead.com/IdiotWarningPage.html

Well done Heather! No doubt what your point is, but it still comes across brushed with humor. Reminded me so much of my daughter. She is also planning her own little cabin in the woods here on our property, but she is away at University right now. Your house looks wonderful - enjoy.

Heather looks really cute in a mean sort of way when my better half looks at me like that i know its time to look out, best just to go out to the shed and find something to keep myself busy

Attendees only have to put in 10 or 20 hours a WEEK? That's not homesteading! ha. Sounds like a good deal to me. Liked the Anti-Idiot page. Bet you guys have more/worse horror stories than that!

Heather's Idiot Warning Page is great! I like the whole site. I haven't checked out all of the pictures yet (ran out of time), but I'll be back. The pictures I looked at look great. Heather is doing a really good jov with her house. I loved your logo.
