Crappy Color

greenspun.com : LUSENET : polaroid transfers : One Thread

I am using an old Vivitar slide printer to do both Image and Emulsion transfers. I love it, and they look cool, but the color is terrible. I am using a warming filter like K. Carr's book suggests, but the images turn out dark and muddy. I know it's not the slides, but don't know if by slide printer is bad, or I am just dumb. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kristin

I too have experienced problems with colours being muddy and think it has somthing to do with the temperature in the room...also temp of the film
