Does any manufacturer make a Sou. Ry. E-6 in the original world war 2 double stripped paint, or would you have to have your model custom painted? Thanks, Drew Rutherford

Yes, Proto 2000 brought in the Southern E-6, both A and B units, in the as-delivered scheme with the double stripe. There were several different numbers and train names for the Southerner, the Tennessean and the Crescent Limited. This was four or five years ago, but I think they are still available. They later brought in the E-7 in that scheme as well - A units only, since Southern didn't buy any E-7B units.
